My cottage business really is located in a cottage, on the edge of Snowdonia in North Wales.  With views of the mountains and an out of control garden there's lots of inspiration and all my cakes are designed and made here.  I've graduated to edible design from an original career as a teacher.  I still make jewellery and am involved in other crafts, but high quality cake design is what I really enjoy.  Having made my own wedding cake nearly 18 years ago (that’s scary!!),  friends and family asked if I was interested in designing cakes for their events, and a small number of commissions for high-end cakes followed ... and that's how the business started.  Small numbers of high quality, individually designed cakes is the nature of my work.
